Questions to ask your Landscaper to Get the Best Outdoor Setup That You Can
When you are about to partake on a large Landscaping project like installing an outdoor kitchen, putting in a brick paver patio, landscaping the area around your pool, or building a fence, you want to be sure that you know how the process works if you have contracted the job out. There are a lot of different questions that you want to be sure that you have asked the company that is doing the landscaping for you so that you know what is going on throughout the whole process and what to expect. Being an informed consumer is very important, especially when the project that is being completed is being done in your back and front yard. Know what questions you need to be asking and what information to get from your Landscaping Company.
One of the most important things that you can ask your landscaping company for is a quote. That quote should show what is going to happen in your yard, how long it is going to take, how many hours it is going to take, the approximate cost of materials, and the approximate cost of labor. Of course, a quote is not an all-telling final cost of the project, there is always something that may spring up, but you want to be sure that you have a rough idea of what is going to happen and what it is going to cost so that you are prepared for that.
Be sure that you also understand the terms of the landscaping project. In this manner, you want to be sure that you know how long it is going to take and how payment works. Generally, most of the landscaping companies in south Florida are going to want a deposit and the remainder collected at the end. Be sure that you have worked out with your landscaper details so that they do not get paid the final amount until the project has been finished and is up to your standards.
Always ask your landscaper where they are getting their materials from and what materials they will be using. You want to know what they will be installing in your yard and make sure that they aren’t marking up their supplies too high so that you are paying a lot more than if you had purchased the supplies and had them installed by the landscaping company.
It is always important to stay on top of the project that is happening in your front or back yard. In this, you want to ask questions and stay informed, you aren’t being nosey when you do this, and you are simply being an informed consumer because it is your money that is being used. Know what questions to ask.
